Review of Meat Loaf tape - I got the tape very quickly. Unfortunately, the tape itself is defective (skips from track 3 to 6), so that is clouding this review.
Couldn t have said it better.... - I purchased this CD for couldn t have said it better and ended up enjoying the whole CD. That s usually what happens when I buy a Meat Loaf album!I am enjoying this whole album. I hear something different each time I listed to the different songs.
What can be said? It s Meat Loaf! - A good rocking effort from Meat Loaf. Songs like TESTIFY, TEAR ME DOWN, DO IT, and LOVE YOU OUT LOUD prove he has not lost his energy for delivering the goods. One noteable mention, for those who are not usually inclined to let a CD play thru til it stops on its own, you may miss the hidden track tacked on a few seconds following the end of the last song - Meat s cover of MERCURY BLUES - taking a country favorite and giving it a little more of a rock edge. All in all, good stuff, and an absolute must for any Meat fan, and still a worthy addition to the causal Loaf listener. And I can t say it any better than that.WTW
MEAT LOAF - I met MEAT and I think it was Jim too, this summer on the GREEN MONSTER during a Red Sox baseball game at Fenway Park. We chatted for a while and he is a genuine cool man, so I figured I should finally purchase some of his music and got five of his CD s including Bat out of Hell III. I m glad I did. Rock On.PJF
Meat in Fine form - Just because it doesn t say bat out of hell doesnt mean i wont like it.I love welcome to the neiboorhood and i love this one now.Songs on hear are great.Vocals by meat are in top form. Its more rock than opera but that dont bother me.If this album said bat out of hell 3 it would ve sold millions.
